Permanency Support Program Learning Hub
We are proud to announce that we were successful in our application to deliver the Permanency Support Program sector workforce development and training service for the NSW Family and Community Services, the PSP Learning Hub.
In late 2017, FaCS began the roll out of the Permanency Support Program which is bringing about significant changes in the sector to how we work with children, young people and families. These changes require practitioners to work within a new space of preservation, restoration, guardianship and adoption.
Curijo will now work with Permanency Support Program providers, peak bodies and FaCS to finalise what the service will deliver. This service will establish a central place where the sector including practitioners, PSP service providers, and peak bodies can access information, support, resources and training to build a PSP community.
Curijo is an Aboriginal organisation that is trusted and relationship-based. We provide high quality solutions tailored to client’s needs via our two-way learning philosophy.
This project is a collaboration that includes:
- Curijo – our sector and industry knowledge, and skills in training and mentoring,
- ECTARC – an Early Childhood Training and Resource Centre who are a well-known and renowned RTO, and
- Cassey Consulting – experts in change and learning design.
Curijo acknowledge and respect the work that ACWA and AbSec have undertaken in this area and look forward to expanding our relationship with them, their members, the sector and other industry experts to finalise and implement the PSP Sector Workforce Development and Training Strategy across NSW.
