Our highly trained consultants are experienced and knowledgeable and can assist businesses and organisations to develop and implement Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs). In order to do this, our staff can support the RAPs development through reflecting, innovating, stretching and elevating to build authentic and practical actions towards working to build respectful relationships and creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Working in Indigenous communities provides challenges through the complexities of adhering to Cultural Protocols especially given the diversities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. Our experienced staff are professional and culturally sensitive when working within Aboriginal communities in order to engage, consult and seek advice.
Cultural Supervision and Mentoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff is a process that facilitates the cultural needs and expressions of an individual and/or group. It is fundamental to ensure that cultural needs are identified and supported throughout employment and organisations are committed to providing a workplace where culture is nurtured for each individual and all staff have the opportunity to practice their culture in an environment free from discrimination.
Cultural Learning Journey training provides organisations and participants with the opportunity to learn about and further develop their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the diversities and Aboriginal Australia both historically and contemporary. All stages of the Cultural Learning Journey Training address the necessity for organisations and individuals to provide more respectful, receptive and culturally safe services primarily through knowledge and reflection.
